Following another busy period for the team, we’d like to update you all on our progress over the last few months. As you may know, we’re building a new version of the Nahmii protocol and this remains our number one priority. This work includes preparing the launch products and partnerships, plus bringing useful tools like fiat on ramps and cross-chain swaps to the network. Read on to find out more.
Nahmii’s Growing Ecosystem ♾️⚙️🛠️
Nahmii 3.0 will launch with a suite of new products and services, offering enhanced usability and utility compared to Nahmii 2.0. The Nahmii 3.0 ecosystem will include ported versions of Nahmii 2.0 products, NiiFi and Kiwii Labs, plus entirely new offerings in the NFT, GameFi and DeFi space.
Nahmii 3.0 will also feature an exciting range of partner services, ranging from advanced wallet management tools, oracles and cross-chain swaps. We’re also looking to enable fiat on ramps into the Nahmii ecosystem for the first time courtesy of another partner integration.
Nahmii 3.0 🔥👀
Our work on the Nahmii 3.0 platform has reached a major milestone; we now have a working testnet, complete with deposits and withdrawals back to Goerli. Features such as ERC-721 bridge support are still being finalised, but we can now deploy our existing and new products on to Nahmii 3.0 for testing.
We plan to open Nahmii 3.0 up so that anyone can deploy smart contracts on the network, effectively moving from a closed beta in Nahmii 2.0 to an open beta in Nahmii 3.0. The first public test of Nahmii 3.0 took place in Nigeria, where we sponsored Web3Bridge’s recent hackathon. This is the first of many such events planned to help publicise Nahmii 3.0. We have been building Nahmii 3.0 with the future of Web3 in mind. What if we told you that with Nahmii 3.0 you will be able to spin up your own blockchain, while retaining all the benefits unique to Nahmii? We’ll have much more to say about this exciting idea very soon…👀
