June was another busy month for the team, with a mix of hard work and holidays. Our highlights include some major milestones regarding Nahmii 1.0, swapping the HBT token for GENII and two product launches. Read on to find out more.
Kiwii Labs Minting Station Launch
Say hello to the next generation of NFT minting: Kiwii Labs! Our new NFT minting station is now live on Nahmii. Designed to showcase Nahmii’s low-cost, high-performance architecture, Kiwii Labs allows creators and collectors to mint NFTs for a fraction of the equivalent cost on Ethereum. Soon, NFTs minted on Kiwii Labs will be tradeable on our upcoming marketplace ‘Kiwii’. Alongside NFT bridges to Ethereum, this will enable the full NFT lifecycle on Nahmii: mint, trade, bridge.
Meet the Kiwii Eggs, Nahmii’s First NFT Collection
To celebrate the launch of Kiwii Labs, we created a limited-run NFT collection featuring our Kiwii mascot: Kiwii Eggs. A maximum of 555 Gen 0 Kiwii Eggs will be minted, with over 400 already claimed (update: the collection sold out on 26th June). We have big plans for these tiny eggs, but who knows what’s inside? Most importantly, Kiwii Eggs will link in with the wider Nahmii ecosystem and products built by SkunkDAO, showcasing the power of an integrated network. Whitelisting has already closed for Kiwii Eggs, but there are still a small number of eggs left for public minting. You can check out Kiwii Labs and mint your Kiwii Eggs here.
Nahmii 1.0 to Nahmii 2.0 Trusted Bridge Payments Completed
We have completed the Nahmii 2.0 payments for the trusted bridge service. You can now view your updated balances using MetaMask on the Nahmii 2.0 network. Learn more here.
HBT Token Swap
As promised back in September, we are pleased to announce that the HBT token swap has now taken place on Ethereum mainnet. A new token called Genii (ticker: $GENII) has replaced the old HBT token in the Nahmii ecosystem. We would like to thank our amazing community for their patience and support throughout the process.
